I guess it is the signal in dBm above the base line (noise).

could you explain what +8dB stands for (what is 0dB ? ) ?
0dB is the baseline, i.e. the noise floor. So the dB figure is carrier to noise. FEC 2/3 is resolveable from about 5.5dB. Also expressing in dB is an easy way to relate to everyone else's charts.

So the dB figure is carrier to noise
Do you have a lock? Otherwise there's not much relationship to S/N or C/N ;)

There's no lock because it is not a DVB transmission. But this is how carrier to noise is measured for analogue, and if I measure a digital transponder the same way and then switch to digital parameters SNR will be more or less the same, or maybe just a tad lower. Anyway, at the very least, it's an easy way for the others who are catching spectrums to compare my power levels with theirs.

it look spot beam for me weak signal

How does it compare to Astra 1N when it was being tested?

Can we now say Astra 2F UK beam is very likely to go as far south as Spain when it is moved to 28E (with the right sized dish)?
