I think you're right solly. Must be the 39E 11495 beacon, although 2E has an 11495.50 beacon allocated. May be switched off as it's so close to 39E?

However, other 2E beacons are coming in strong at this longitude.

The beacon hellas sat 2: 11451,5 RHCP beam global... Astra 2E: 11453,5 H, 11707,5 V (or circular) and 12493 H (or circular).

You're right of course. Don't know where that frequency came from - I wouldn't have been able to get that one anyhow where I am. I meant 11453.5, the one I had uploaded.

But I thought 2E had capabilities for 64 TP's, 48 on the European beams and 12 on the ME beam, as per 2F with it's West African beam?

Sounds more like it, will be interesting to see how many TP's SES sell to DTH or data customers. Maybe an extension of new channel bouquets for Orbit Showtime in the UAE, KSA and Oman?

I doubt it. 28E is not a good position for ME as it is so close to 26E making it impossible for both positions to be received on one dish.

Unless they make a special LNB? It is a bit weird though, but will be interesting who will use the position. SES must think there is some potential for this spot.
