I have, but I didn't do anthing in the first place to have my UI change on me...
I had to read advice in a separate posting (in the large-dishes-on-ebay-etc) before I managed to recover the "recent posts" item.
Why are there even different styles to choose from?

(Right, let's put the accelerator to the right of the brake pedal. No wait, maybe somebody wants to have it on the left, in case they're left-handed. Nono, what if they're ambidextrouos? Hmm. What-to-do. Ah, I got it! Let's make it use-configurable where the accelerator, clutch and brake pedals are in their specific car! The use can program this by pressing a button on the dash-board, and pressing the pedals in the right sequence upon start-up of the vehicle. Brilliant; problem solved, responsiblity for sensible operation delegated to end-user. (sounds of abundant hand-washing and back-slapping.))

If you manage to run W8 in 8MB of RAM, I think Redmond wants to hear from your ASAP. You're gonna make the programming stars...

Might be a browser related problem!

I use "" pale moon "" which was affected but resolved when I chose the default option.

Have other different browser ( explorer, opera etc ) users noticed the change?

Firefox retained the original style.

Senile dimentia dictates one is living in the past, I knew it was 8Gb but my finger typed 8Mb

I think so too, as I saw the change happen and just assumed it was an upgrade at first.
 
I just thought ,Bugger where has recent posts gone ,How do I get back to my reply, to edit out all those typo's and enter all those missing dots and comm'as.:)

That brings up one of those Mod privileges. We can go back as far as we like and edit history so that we look like we're perfect.

Which we are, of course, just sometimes rushed in our spelling...

Bloody hell, so I'm not the only one that does that! :D

Mac user, can't stand windoze, must get round to having a play with linux at some time though.
