    Turksat 2a 42e Problems

There are numerous other transponders on that beam with lower SR's, do you receive them OK? As has been stated, according to the footprint, you are getting towards marginal reception with your size dish. You could try tweaking your dish and changing the LNB skew to see if you get any improvement. AF

The fact that you get other sats ok does this mean that you are motorised? Is a tree/bush/neighbours new extension partially blocking the beam? Have you tried nudging the dish left/right by means of the facilities in your receiver? Have you tried pushing up/pulling down the bottom rim of the...

Well done steffan-st, obviously a typo on the original post. I know I am getting senile and nearly in my dotage, but I just could not get the gist of your original figures. All clear now, hope the weather has settled over there, hazy sun at the moment, quite mild temperatures. Off to the coast...

Does size matter?. Dishes of course

    * steffan_st Sorry for my remark "Have you got you numbers wrong?;) " The more I delve into "claimed gains for an antenna/dish" the more I realise that some sites/suppliers quote gains that differ from those quoted by another site/supplier for what is supposed to be the same antenna/dish. And I...
