I finally got around to it. I have setup my dyndns account and I can access my vu+duo from outside my home network via the openwebif. I can get as far as seeing all the channels listed in the bouquet but when I click on the stream button, it downloads the file but the video player can't play...

No I don't have a static ip. So I create an account with dyndns which keeps tabs on what my ip address is at all times? Then with my tablet I go to dyndns website and login, which then routes me to my home network? Is that correct?

So I install the dyndns software which gives me an address. Then in my tablet browser I type that address which will allow me to access my services via my router? Is that correct?

any idea on where to start though?

Morning all.my setup is a vu+ duo clone, static sky dish plugged into tuner b and a motorised dish plugged into tuner a.Sometimes when i choose a channel, the flashing satellite comes up but the dish doesn't move. If i try another channel the same thing happens, just the flashing...

Thanks again. So if i didn't tick clear before scan would it only update the channels in my bouquet, ignoring the ones that aren't?I don't want to get all the channels i can receive, just want the simplest method of updating my bouquet every time there is an update.
