    Technomate 6902 Super Plus Combo

Robbo, thanks for that info. Will this suggestion work for me better??? As I am only using a HDMI cable from receiver to TV. If I put aloop in the Sat Receiver, then use the TV to choose an alternative input source. This should get around the problem for me to watch another terrestial...

I have just purchased the receiver and are puzzled by its ability not to record in terrestial using the USB PVR! When on terrestial and I want to record, say Channel Five then at the same time view another terrestial channel, this appears to be not possible! Also noticed when attempting to do...

German Sat FTV and UK FreeSat

When I was talking to the supplier of Sat kit when I first enquired about the Humax Receiver and what I was trying to do. They recommended for the Humax Freesat HDR to use 2x2 Diseqc rather than 1x4. Why would that be better?

Me again after being away! 1. If I want to watch one programme and record another on 28E Freesat Receiver, I presume I need 2 cables from the twin LNB to receiver. 2. If the other LNB on the dish is pointed at 19E and I want to do the same (Not at the same time) as 1. above, I preume I will...

Two fixed LNBs (19.2E and 28.2E) on one dish.

When setting up 2 LNBs, 28E and 19E in East Anglia, looking at the front of the dish, which LNB goes to which side? Thanks Alan

Two fixed LNBs (19.2E and 28.2E) on one dish.

I know there are all sorts of 'alignment' types of meters on the market. What do professionals use, especially when they are up a ladder? Does the alignment kit actually show which Sat they are onto?

Two fixed LNBs (19.2E and 28.2E) on one dish.

I asked a local, well known Installer (East Anglia) area, about setting up the 2 LNBs on a 80cm dish for me. He commented that they find the spread is too great to receive a satisfactory reception, and recommend 2 dishes! What do the forum members think? Thanks Alan

German Sat FTV and UK FreeSat

Would this model meet my requirement of DISeqc switching between 2 satellites (19.2E & 28.2E) at the receiver and have recording ability? Can I watch one Sat and record from another Sat? Or is this restricted to watching one programme and recording another from same Sat? Humax FoxSat-HDR...
