the ethernet interface is supposed to be 10/100. my router is a netgear wireless, with 4 wired ports (10/100). my relook is hardwired. now i was trying to download from the relook to my laptop which is wireless, that might make a difference. i will try downloading to my big PC tonight to see...

i recorded a movie of ta*uilla last night. the file is one large 3.5gb file which can be accessed via ftp from the relook hard drive. now i thought i had a gigabit network but my wireless router is only 10/100. it transferred the file to my pc @ 1100 kb per second. as far as playback is...

it uses the exact same files. you even have to save them in the same folders (var/keys and var/scce). so not a case of dreambox saves relook but in my position "dreambox co-exists with relook" :)

seems i didnt copy the files over to the relook properly. when i stuck on the dreambox file for 6.1.06 i also stuck them onto the relook 400 as well, just on the odd chance they could decode the channels. couldnt believe it when D+ cleared on my relook. well happy now. just need to get around...

hyperterminal requires you to know the right linux command. much better to use an ftp program. any softcam.key file should do. the problem is putting it in the right folder for your receiver. it is usually the var/keys folder on linux based machines.
