Dude, either you don't have the signal right on those channels or they're encrypted. One way to check that out: Menu-settings-service searching-manual transponder scan you need to get BLOCK and SYNC ticked. If they're both it means the signal is locked :)

Dude that's illegal. you need to keep that in mind. Not sure it's that gonna work but if you are comfortable enough on linux environments and of course not bothered screwing up ur box then go ahead and give it a try :) Otherwise there you might want to check out the following link...

Guys, is it possible to get HD channels on a dreambox other than the 800 series? I know the major difference is the MPEG2 / H.264 codec which is built in but is it possible to install the codec in other series such as 500S for instance? If yes, how do you do it and where can I get it?

Check your symbol rate mate. it's 27500 instead of that number you got there. and leave the FEC to AUTO if you not sure. THen rescan. there is no reason that channel shouldn't appear :)

One option might be to run a scan just based on your preferred transponders instead of an automatic scan which will basically pick up all channels in the satellite including the rubbish ones. I've got a Dream 500 and I used to have the same problem. So just locate the chanels you want to watch...
