    The problem with Sky

Yes you might have to retain sky for Ch5 but I think all other freeview sky channels would be available would be available. Correct me if I'm wrong. I don't plan to ever pay Sky again personally.

    The problem with Sky

Sky must have incurred enormous costs as a result of its policy of giving away digital satellite systems (with free installation). The money has to be recouped and anyone who wants more than the free channels will experience the downside of such extravagance (hefty subscription charges). I...

    Motorising a 1 M dish

My pace digibox is awfull for multi sat. Sky only allows me to store 12 extra channels and they are difficult to access also its very common for it to forget the extra channels.

Excellent stuff brewby you should also check out http://linkworld.to/fosi (if that doesn't work due a search for fosi) I have got so much excellent stuff from that site and there are no viruses. Yes I would dearly like to get my hands on Dragon 7. I should probably double my 256 gigabyte memory...

    Mounting plate (1224 motor-Fortecstar 1.2m dish)

I don't want to pay £30 (from www.satellitesuperstore.co.uk) how easy would it be too satisfactorily attach a Fortecstar 1.2m dish to a Jaeger1224 motor? I'm hoping that it would require no more than a bit of amateur engineering. If anybody thinks differently then I'd appreciate your comments.

I just did a scan with SpyBot and it was totally clean. While online I initiated Gozilla (an auto downloading program) I closed it and immediately did another scan with SpyBot. Three WurldMedia entries were present in the registry e.g. the location starts with HKEY_so I think this might be what...

I'll try Shareaza 2.0 but I've never had any problems with Kazaa Lite K++ (that I'm aware of) I wouldn't touch Kazaa proper unless I was really desperate as its the most irritating programme ever. Kazaa Lite K++ gets me anything I want. I hardly use it because I've got all the programs I need...

Thanks devil I'll try ad aware and see what it comes up with - I just did a scan (having updated Spybot) and found three instances of WurldMedia (I've seen it before) I think they were located in the registry. I think these may well have been responsible for my problem........ (hard drive...

    download xxx movies

Yes I totally agree - I thought maybe broadband Internet might be able to compete with satellite and as a source for high-quality mature content videos but the data transfer rate is just a joke. I'm just about to get the necessary equipment (I'll be in debt for about a year!) I'm mainly interested in Thor...

    Largest Wall Mounted Dish?

Lancelot - I'm still a little chaotic (having just got into forums) the passage in question was from a posting by truth (just a few postings back) ah yes I see it was posted some time ago! I must remember to check the dates. Anyway I think he wanted to find a way to have an edge over bookies.

Lancelot, I totally agree with you (everything on my online hard drive is disposable). I think you have to have two hard drive bays with removable hard drives and have all but the most recent data backed up twice on the two hard drives which will never be used for online activity. I use Norton...

Thanks Brewby, the second part of my response was not successfully posted to hear it is: Part 2: I'm pretty vague about how registry entries work. Maybe I should think about Zone alarm Pro. I will certainly check out the programs you recommend. I think my best defence is that I never have...
