Second-hand contract. How much does this cost ? Is the cost no different to a normal contract ? Is there any connection charges with this ? Do Sky treat `second-hand` customers the same ?

Do Tesco now sell the Sky Boxes ? I thought usually if you buy Sky in a shop, its for the FULL Sky installation jobby ! The Broadband & Phone i have now found out (on the Sky website) i could `upgrade` to these AFTER getting the TV.

So i could just buy a box and install it myself ? as simple as that ? I suppose The Broadband & phone would not require any installation ?

I currently have a dish on my wall and a satellite receiver from Maplins which i am using to watch the free digital channels - I suppose you could say `Freesat`, but i am not or ever have been with Sky. I am now thinking about joining Sky and paying for some of the TV packs along with Broadband...

what about if i kept the topfield and got a sky box as well ? They are reasonable priced. Could i connect them together ?

If i did return the topfield, obviously if i got a `sky box` which are available on many websites ( http://www.satellitesuperstore.com/skydigibox.htm ) the cards would be fine ???

I have set-up my own sat system with a dish and a Topfield TF4000pvr receiver so i can get just the free sat channels. I have been told that if i purchase a `freesat` card from sky so i can watch the encrypted free channels, the card would only work for awhile then it would have to be inserted...

The aerial lead is not going through the sat receiver. I did have it going through and had the same problem. Its currently not.

I have just purchased a sat receiver & dish from Maplins. Set it all up at 28.2 & scanned for all the free channels. I`ve noticed that i cannot find ITV4 anywhere - why? BBC 4 is also missing, but i can get over that because i can get Cbeebies and BBC4 is broadcast on the same channel...

I am planning to get a satellite dish but would prefer NOT to place it on the outside of the house. Our current TV arial is in the loft and we get a clear good signal, so would this mean we could put the dish in the loft and get a good signal too ?
