Is it possible for some of you people on here to make a video of you channel hopping from satellites other than 42e - 43w? It would be nice to see say each channel on 92 east, say 5 seconds for each channel. This way we could get to see channels that we can't get in Europe, or at least a peak. :)
I have a 1m dish now but if I got a 2.4m dish, what extra satellites could I pick up in the UK? I get about 18 satellites now with my current dish. Can someone list me a few satellites so I could see if i'd benefit from a dish this size?
Can the mpeg4 channels be got with a skystar2 card? If so i'm in the UK with a 1m motorised dish, so I could test it for you.
Also if their in mpeg4 should a dreambox be able to get a signal on them? I thought you could tune mpeg4 channels in but you would get a black screen like on digitalb...
I'm not to sure, the weak satellites i'm finding differcult to get is 26e, 1w Thor 3 and 7w V chs and a few on 42e. I'm not too bothered about the 1w ones really, as the channels on there I can get else where if needed. I can get channels on 26e and 7w but they normaly pixel out and are not...
At present I have a 1m motorised dish and because satellite tv is one of my big hobbys, i'd like to see if I could go bigger. Now my downfall with this is my location, and this is one of the areas i'd need advise on. I live in a council flat with my own back garden and this is where I have my...
Thanks this is interesting, I do know quite a bit about satellite but i'm still confused. How comes these sats ain't listed on lyngsat, is it because their private? Also out of all the sats you have said about which am I likely to pickup with my 1M dish in the UK? I know what I pickup will be...
Can you get these sats in the UK? Where are they located and what equipment is needed for them? Are the transmissions from them just feeds or actul channels? I'm just interested that's all, being nosey. :)
Would there be any chance of some pictures at all of your box getting these MC channels on 68e? I'm asking because i'm not too far from your location and if I ever moved I would invest in C-band. What kind of signal do you get with it on your 1.8m dish? Also is your 1.8m dish motorised, does it...
Thanks, so if I upgraded my dish to 1.2m and bought a 2in1 LNB for ku+c band, what would I pick up? Do you get any live sports on c-band in the UK?
40 east
Planeta
4125 R
I got a feeling it's c-band that i'm on about. Would I need 2 satellite dishes for ku-band and c-band or will it both work off 1 dish? Also say I have a c-band lnb do I just put 4125 in my dreambox and the channel appears? I got a feeling this stuff requires a big dish...
I have been looking around lyngsat and notice that some satellites use this R & L instead of H & V. Also the frequencys are only 4 digits long. I do know a bit about satellites but the above is new to me. I take it you need a big dish plus a speacial box to get these channels?
For a while iv'e been wanting to get 43w just to test something, but had no success. Can you get 43w with a 1m dish in the UK? I can get 30w but nothing else west from that.
