Hi, It is possible to get Channel 10 and TBC1 in your region by using a Prime focus dish around 6 feet with a C band LNB. The channels are not scrambled they are free to air. The satellite you are to tune in is Intelsat 906 at 64.2°E. Enjoy

Sorry was not active here. But I found my password and I am here now. I gave the wrong information abour with Intelsat was able to receive here in Nairobi. I am actually getting Intelsat 906, Pas 7/10, Nss12, W4/W7, Eutelsat W3, Astra 4 and Nilesat 201 (Abudhabi Sports).

Twala, There a friend of mine who lives in Mombasa Kenya who claims that he has received Nile sat with a 1.5 meters Ku dish 9 fibre glass). he got this dish from the Vsat companies.

Hi, SABC 1,2,3 are on Intelsat 902 62.0E Cband. Only Etv has remained on Intelsat 7,10 68.5E Ku-band. We can receive them here in East Africa.

Hi Cvbloke, This is very interesting, I am trying to learn more on this new hobby of mine(sat tv reception). Does it mean these Vsat fibre dishe and lnbs can receive sat tv? Is there any modification you do apart from removing the transmitter?

Well Blaise10, I am one of the C-Band amateurs and I live in Nairobi Kenya. I have a 6 feet metal dish. Her I am able to receive Badr-C 26.0E, Intelsat 7,10 68.5E, Intelsat 904 64.0E, Intelsat 902 62.0E though having difficulties in improving signal. Getting assistance on another forum.

Tried that once but i will do it again. Karism inquired about my Lnb, well its the standard Eurostar C band lnb. Hope I have answered you well.
