That's a shame, I was just about to set-up a new box, I guess its not worth putting Dream Elite on now because if their servers are down, I suspect menu options to pull cams , plugins etc will all be defunct too :-(

For safety sake, I would recommend making the settings the same for the upper and lower reader anyway, as you say as there is only one reader in a dm500, he's not going to be using another card in the other slot as it doesn't exist :)
