I have a Topfield PVR6000 which has two readings for level and quality. For most Hotbird Channels it shows around 75 & 100 but for this frequency it is 75 & 0. A broken picture will appear and then go again.

Thanks all. If the alignment was wrong wouldn't that affect all frequencies - as far as I can see this is only one giving a problem?

Have been struggling to receive TV Polonia and other channels for several weeks. Can anyone confirm if there is a problem?

After I last posted I did a search and it found nothing under 10796. The earliest vertical I can find anything under appears to be 10949 although horizontal I can pick up is 10723. Not sure what the interpretation of this should be?

Thanks. I did have the correct frequency but just wrote it down incorrectly. I have a Topfield 6000PVR but unless I am missing something it only appears to give you the option of resetting frequency, symbol rate and polarization?

Thanks for the suggestions I think it is euipment failure rather than frequency - can anyone suggest the best place to look for reputable engineers in the West Midlands area?

Apologies if this is old news. I haven't really watched many foreign channels over the summer but have just checked and most if not all my hotbird channels appear to have disappeared including RAI 1, RAI 2 etc. Has something major happened that I haven't kept track of or have all these channels...

Hi Just happened over the last two days. Anyone else experiencing problems or can explain what has happened. Have now picked up Rai 1 on Astra FTA but not sure if the others are available? Thanks Ian

I have a Samsung DSR9500 VIA CI receiver. This evening the system continually crashed when I tried to access the channels (ZDF ZDFTheater 3SAT etc) on this frequency. All the other free to air channels and TPS channels appear to be fine. Anyone have any ideas what the problem may be?
