I've just got out of the loft my first freesat box, a bush sd and installed it in the spare bedroom.On installation on the install page I get nothing for network or transport ID and zero signal.However on pressing the blue button for a frequency scan I get 144 channels.On accessing some channels...

I was under the impression that Lux HD Tv was scrambled? Is that not the case?

After buying a Full HD tv and a Humax HD receiver I'm a little disappointed with the amount of HD transmissions from both the BBC and ITV.Does anyone have any inside information on when these services will/may be extended and if C4 and Ch5 have any plans for HD on Freesat?

After buying a Samsung Full hd tv ( LE40A558P3 )with inbuilt Freeview I've seen that 4 HD channels are to be broadcast on Freeview next year in the North West when the Analogue is switched off.My question is has this tv got DVB-T2 using MPEG4 to receive them ? I can't find this info anywhere on...

If this is true would anyone be able to receive them by entering a northern Ireland post code instead of their own ?

Since I got the BBC North West on ch101 I can only switch to it by entering 101 off the keypad buttons on the remote.If I try to use the up/down buttons say from 102 ie BBC2 it jumps down to 3152,one of the fta channels.101 also doesn't show up in the channel guide.Anyone else got this problem...

Has anyone got any more news on the addition of new channels ?

Although I have the manual tune and Add non-Freesat services showing in settings,my software version is 1.2.16 and the scan locks up when I try to pull in new fta channels.Any ideas ?

Alba have updated the software for their freesat receivers so fta channels can be scanned for.I'm still working out how to save them.:mad:

If he's got Sky +,he's probably got one.

Or you can run another cable down from your dish and receive both systems ie Sky and Freesat.
