    Gibertini 1.5m

Sorry to hear that. Try 11919H 27500 3/4 at about 07.00 in the morning. This is by far the strongest H transponder on 7.0w. You may also need to just nudge your dish East or West. Don't forget there is 3 sats at 7.0w which is not a problem when under footprint but for us it is. Next step is...

    First Motorised Install

M8 to be honest unless you have a channel now which is giving you a lock but not enough for a picture then there is no point upgrading to a 100cm dish. You're best bet is try a few sats now and see if any channels that you like to watch are borderline then it might be a idea to upgrade.

    First Motorised Install

Nice clean and tidy job. Not bad at all for a first time effort. Regarding plans and 90cm dish, AFAIK you are allowed 100cm now it use be 90cm.

    Ct125/wf125

Guys I'm having a extension built and when its finished I will be shifting my main sat receiver to the other side of the house. I need about 50 meters of WF125 or better. I did have a roll here of 100 meters but I've only got a liitle bit left and I don't want to patch it, really want one...

    Gibertini 1.5m

OK that's better. Did not translate but think I know what they are saying. I also have two of those feedhorns here, Channel Masters feedhorns. I got one from member snap but never needed to use because one from the USA turned up and I found the narrowband feed better for my needs. I reckon...

    nilesat 7w north midlands

Not been around here for a while and just had a look at this thread. Firstly I can not believe where you have put the dish, the weight of the dish and the size of it if we get a storm then it will take the wall down, i would be sh*tting myself evey night in bed. When I put mine up last year it...

    Gibertini 1.5m

M8 I still have the same dish at the side of my house. When it was up the best LNB setup I tried was the gibertini feedhorn with invacom c120 or the white case sharp 0.3LNB, nothing else I tried could beat it. You will see a improvement with CM feed I am sure.

Best LNB for fringe reception ?

If you're dish is a 120 channel master/andrews then you should be using a c120 and feedhorn. If not a channel master dish then try the sharp lnbf or the titanium. I have tested both here and gave better performance than the invacom.

Need reception reports for Thor 5 t1 beam in the UK

M8 T1 OK in West Manchester with a Fracarro Penta 85cm. Nice strong signal 24/7. T1 beam strongest from Thor5 for me, Nordic,Central and Eastern beam weakest but still receivable 24/7.

    multivision on dreambox??

OK m8, so you have sorted it now ? regarding feedhorn, I got it from another member called Snap of here and two days later I got another one from the USA which I ordered over 3weeks before and thought it would never come. I also have a new inverto c120 if interested. Not trying to flog you...

    multivision on dreambox??

m8, I have just checked my db500 on MV and getting 85% and 76%AGC and not a single BER. This is on a triax64cm dish. Have you checked cable at the F connectors ? Make sure no braid is in contact with the copper in the middle. I think you should also look at replacing your db7000 or at least...

    multivision on dreambox??

Hi Arthur, M8 don't like to tell you how to suck eggs, you've been in this game long enough but something is not right with your dish setup. Even with the poor performing db7000 with its dreadfully weak tuner you should still have more than enough with a CM120. Putting seeing pictures to one...

    Few Questions Regarding Motor Setup

m8 I have just install my new dish and moteck 2100 this afternoon. Make sure motor is at zero and at the side you want 53.5 latitude. Put dish on the motor and make sure it is perfectly in the center. Then tighten down but not over tighten, then using your hands turn the motor on the pole, so...
