Badr has seen some better days; the loss of channels 5, 6, and 7 for Dubai Sports, some Al Kass channels turning MPEG 4 and, most of all, fewer interesting live events...

I expected a relatively high signal for the new channels - which was confirmed. But as the wind is currently blowing towards my dish, these channels are subject to image loss. However I made a few photos.

I saw you guys were interested in this - to mildly put it - modest satellite, so I gave it a scan. Majestic seems to be the only channel worth keeping. No signal whatsoever on some frequencies. If I haven't bore you enough so far, you'll forgive my posting some pictures I took - not the best...

I know, it's just that due to the bottle's colour everyone has the feeling that there's no room for air.

you can't see it, but the bottle is cut beneath, otherwise its diameter wouldn't have allowed the LNB to penetrate it, so there's no problem with the overheating

the only storm that frightens me is a wind storm...fortunately my dish wins every time; shall I mention that I bought it in 1993?

Have you considered watching Dubai Racing? I've stumbled across it a few times...and I definitely remember that they were keen on broadcasting such events.
