too late,
she's booked a holiday back home. Thats about GBP1500 (sorry, I've got a Sim Lim keyboard) for her + the nipper. Should have gone with DaTu. I suspect that they may fall foul of EU laws, but then again they are acting as agents for a non-EU organisation (ABS-CBN), so who knows...
Exactly the same situation for me. There appears to be a monopoly on sales through the UK, with DaTu enterprises. I wonder if subscribing to TFC Middle East package (god knows how) could produce simply a card as opposed to a complete system.
Even Singapore & HK are operating these channels on...
they are easy to patch so you can buy a good value unpatched version and do it yourself. als@t should help in this respect. Search around for this url...
Moteck SG2100. A few unreliable changes then no response, despite TM1500 indicator that dish is moving. What do I need to check to test a motor reset and confirm that the motor has bitten the dust? Any recommendations for new motors as well. There are mixed opinions on Moteck. Obviously I have...
I have done this with an 80 cm channel master dish and a technomate 5500d with monoblock. No problem whatsoever. Now all I need to do is to patch the technomate....
My signal was low of late, so I went up the ladder tonight (BST is a blessing for this sort of job). Found that my dish had been blown off course and that water had penetrated the lnb - motor cable (not sealed properly). Removing the damp end solved the problem temporarily, but looks like a new...
I'm in Lancashire and last night my reception was lousy (especially on Eurobird) Wind gusts will blow the dish off and rain will further attenuate the signal. When the sun shines, reception will be fine.
having just bought a monoblock i have heard that 19.2 will no longer be fta in the coming years. Is there another use for a monoblock? Perhaps it coul dbe used for 13E and 10E, given that the spcing is similar. Has anyone tried this? I can't see why it wouldn't work....
The bit that you left 11.145/1450 (or whatever it was) is the important bit. That is the frequency and symbol rate of the transponder you are aimed at.
If there is nothing on that channel, you may end up with no signal. In that case, try another channel. Check the frequency listings to ensure...
Hi there,
Am setting up a system for a family member. We have an old 85cm ChannelMaster dish pointing to 13 deg/19 deg E. It has an old analogue lnb and a 22khz pulse switch. I want to digitise it with a monoblock LNB. Several questions,
1- Are monoblocks suitable for 85 cm? I have only heard...
