Well, the Belkin gaming adapter seems to be working ok. Once in it's virtually invisible (other than to the router and DM of course) and you can't log into it directly. It seems pretty secure to me.

Sorry - I'm being thick! I see what you mean. It logs me into the Ccam info pages, but I'm getting no servers and no clients.

Thanks so much for getting back to me. I tried "http://dreamboxIP:16001" and it comes up page not found. I have backed up original configs to a wordpad file and copied them in to the 2.0.5 (the c and f lines)

I've just ordered a Belkin wireless gaming adapter (Bridge). It hooks into the ethernet port, and is the same piece of kit you'd use for a slingbox. Costs £39 delivered. Will let you know how I get on. (Also have a Dreambox 500s on the way)
