Thanks for all the replies. I got the Italia card, it's working fine in the original box, and cc*am is reading it fine in Linux STB also, but.... I can't get the entitlements to update in the original box, i.e. I updated the software on the original box >> left card in original box overnight...

Thanks for your help Trigger. It was not activated, the supplier activated it and It is working fine now. Question...There are 3 entries on the "rights" menu, of the CAM, only one entry contains info...anyone know why? FYI, in my opinion the Smit CAM is PITA! The menus are very intermittent...

Thanks for the advice. I bought a Viaccess card and hardware cam this week. I put it in(Wednesday) and it was virtually plug & play, read the card fine. Then (Saturday 3/11/2012) I got "you do not have the rights to access this program" So I checked the "consultation rights" in the Hardware...

Thanks for the replies. I think I'm going to wing it with a cheapo meter, the dish will be at almost eye-level(balcony). I just can't justify spending 200€ on a meter that I'll probably never use again. The LNB holder - do you have a link to the Gibertini holder that is individually...

Hi, I live in Germany and want to install a multi-LNB setup, 9E, 13E and 16 or 23.5E...may want to add more in future. Is an 85cm(Gibertini) dish big enough for what I want to do, or should I go for the 1M? Multi-LNB holder - The Gibertini holders do not allow for individual LNB height...

Hi, This is my first time setting up a dish and I want a multi-LNB set-up. Is there a multi LNB holder that is easier to work with...i.e. all adjustments, including height? Should I get a universal multi-LNB holder or one that is specifically made for the brand of dish? TIA

Does anyone have experience with the Gilbertini or Triax multi-LNB brackets? No recommendations for sat meters?

I think I might scrap the Inverto multiconnect idea because a lot of people have reception trouble with the 23mm LNBs in the rain/snow. Any suggestions for other multi-feed brackets??
