Will I be able to use the Freecom USB stick even though the signal I'll be connecting to is already coming from a digibox?
Also my laptop only has the old type of USB, not USB 2.0. Will that make any difference?

Does anyone have any ideas how I can use my laptop to record TV. I'm living in a hotel room at the moment with a TV that shows channels from a freeview digibox. I can't connect the laptop directly to the digibox.

I'm having problems receving a couple of transponders - 11554V 30000 7/8 on 16.0E and 11426V 27500 2/3 on 28.5E, I can only recieve them if I change the lnb voltage from 13/18 to 14/19 but when I do this it cocks up my motor and it won't move to any other satellite so I have to reset my whole...
I'm having a small problem with my motor. When I change channels from one satellite to another the motor only moves if I pick a channel on a transponder with horizontal polarization first.
Cheers, no I did'nt know it was gonna be scrambled, thats saved me some trouble. Also could you tell me if its possible to recieve channels on 19.2E which have no sr or fec rates, with a dvb reciever.
I've just installed a motor and can pick up channels on all satellites from 28.5E to 30.0W no problem. On 16.0E I can't get BBC Prime on 11554V, I get a 66% signal strenght but 0% quality, although on the same satellite I get 11449H at 77% strength 73% quality and 12563V at 62% strength 53%...
