I'm further north Lee (Stoke) so Coventry is way too far to travel without having to charge someone silly prices for travelling.

I wouldn't recommend anyone going onto the roof or above unless they are fully trained up on ladders and harness and are secured at all times. Lest we forget, Rod Hull came a cropper on his bungalow roof.

If you want to use the rf to pump the feed somewhere else, then google 'Scart to rf adaptor' which will bring up several results

Do people see many like this?

It's on a 10ft long 2" pole anchored to the roof trusses, it's a one metre dish from Sat Solutions that we use, and is solid as a rock, it's fixed in two places in the roof space. In 20 years of installing this was the first oner I had ever done like this so was very wary of it being stable...

Showtime Arabia Ultimate TV Guide (8/10 - 15/10)

I recently installed a 2.4m dish in Stoke (Staffordshire) and after much messing around got the Horizontals in at 50% which brings in the showtime network with no trouble, verticals are running between 60 & 70%

An IRS system I installed that had to be as discreet as possible just a couple of days ago.

    Gibertini or orbital 1M dish?

I think to get MBC he would may have been better off getting a Gilbertini 1M dish and wall mounting on a 24 or 36" T&K just to ensure a better signal.

SM, when I skewed the LNB, the signal came up on the Horizontal channels, Not sure whether you are conversant with a Rover st4, but when I then checked the Mpeg settings which gives you a list of the channels on that TP, it was exactly the same as T16 which is a Vertical TP. This is why I am...

Yes it is Michael, the back plate is massive, I have to say it was not me that fixed it there. But it is above a flat roof so RR has to be careful that he didn't damage the roof.

Evening RR, Attached is a photo of the dish we've put up. Pedro, RR is going to contact the dealer tomorrow to try and get a new LNB sent out, I'll also try the other options when I next go back. We are in Stoke mate

Pedro, when I say 45 degrees, I lined the dish up with the lnb pointing to 6pm, when I found that none of the Horizontal channels were working, I put my meter onto transponder 15 (11.996.00) and skewed the LNB until it was then in the 9pm position, As most of us know, we should have picked...

Pedro, RR will have to tell you that As I'm not there now. We have spent all day there re-aligning, re-skewing etc etc, but with no luck whatsoever on the Horizontals. As you can see from the picture section on my site the cable run isn't very far either as the room it goes to is just to the...

I'm the engineer concerned on RR's dish, I use a Rover analyser and can get all the Vertical channels no trouble whatsoever, When I change frequencies on the meter it still comes up with the same listings as on the transponder settings, but in order to get a signal at all on that setting, I have...
