If you are a Hydra user just update ur control panel and then d/l latest ket bundle, also an new version of Camd is available which is meant to clear Irdet*2...not tried it yet ... Peloquin

Yeah Newcamd or Radegast should get u most stuff that is currently viewable, make sure u update control panel aswell

Yeah I have always had the DB hanging problem with the Hydra images, I ran RU Cannon for about 3 weeks and it didnt lock once, changed to Angharad image and it has repeatedly locked my DB specially if fast channel changing....... Peloquin

OK I have got my DB up and running, I am currently using latest hydra achilles with newcamd 5.17, Ragdegast and SCAM, I am tuned into Astra 19.2, Astra2 ABD 28.2 and Hotbird 13.0 what is currently available to view...ie seca, crypto etc....or what over cams do i need....or is there a website...

Ok, I have figured it is my dish alignment as I have put my S*K minidish into the back of my DB and reconfigured it and I can now view FTA channels, I have got the guy who installed my dish coming back on Monday to re-install it. Peloquin

Hi Had dish installed and left at 19.2, when I try to scan transponders I dont get any results and the SNR stays at 45%, could the dish not be aligned as was previously thought? Any suggestions would be appreicated Peloquin

Aparrently the new DB is going to have a DVD recorder not sure if that is the only new feature, dont know if that is old news though. Anyway I have my new DB 7KS I also have bought a 1.1 Triax a 1.2 aston motor and a Novacom .3db LNB and all the trimmings.....getting the dish installed on...

Yeah I read about the possibilty of a new model....about this time last year there was similar rumours but I believe all that happened was a few tweaks to the DB. I am not a great believer in buying new kit straight off the production lines for the obvious reasons, especially if it is based on...

K...I am going to get myself a DB this week....what is the best image for a newbie regarding Satellites...I am very experienced with Linux so I have no worries there and I am getting the kit installed by a local installer. Your comments would be welcome Peloquin
