seems to be the problem i am having from the initial setup, getting 28,19 and 13.... just waiting on a good day to send the dish to 1west with usals, freeze it and go out and adjust the azimuth up a little, to see if it was missing the top of the arc satelliteman, do you think this might be...

hi, my receiver has a card slot, i am picking up 28e,19e,13e at the minute, if i buy a top up tv card for a freeview box which states in the advert that there is free subscription to ESPN, does this mean that i can put this unactivated, new card in my receiver and pick up the premium ESPN...

i dont actually know what motor it is, and my latitude is 54.7 and longitude is -5.9

i have just found usals in the menu though, your can change the diseqc value from 1.2 motor to usals..

so do you? think i should go out and start from scratch, trying to find 1 west first, by moving the dish up and down, side to side with my hands whilst watching the tv screen? if i did this, how would i know it is definately thor i have landed on, would i need to scan and see if its the right...

apparantly, or so the guy installing it said, i have to move along them 1 by 1 storing them as i find them, i have a menu with all the satellites in it, but if i go to them nothing happens, as if i have to sort of calibrate it all myself. to be honest i have no idea what make of motor it is

thanks for the quick respone mate, i actually had a specialist do it, friend of a friend, seemed handier than making a mess of it myself, since its up there i wanna get into it all a bit. to be honest i think he was starting on 28e, then he got 19, he walked me through it all till i understood...
