Phone them again when you are with the box but pretend you are at the address given when the card was bought. Its best to write it all down first as I gave the wrong house number while I was frantically trying to find the envelope the card came in!!

I bought 2 cards and neither self activated, I had to phone up to get it done. And yes, once activated the card will work in any box.

Actually they are only guaranteed to work till the end of December 05, thats 2 years. They will work in any box but you get the stupid message that "This is not the correct card for this box" if it is not the one it is registered to.

If it IS only 6 months old , surely it's still under warranty?
