    south spain

Remember that as your card is Irish you'll have the 4 Irish channels on 101-104. The Irish channels are on Astra 2D and on a Horizontal polarity, which are notoriously tricky to get in different parts of Spain. Try to check out how people in Torrevieja are getting on with BBC2 as the different...

    Sky+ Fringe Reception?

Can't compare directly with Panasonic 30 but certainly Pace 2600 is better than Sky + It holds the signal that bit more with a 1.8 Prodelin, Invacom 0.3LNB in Madrid.

Irish TV channels and Astra 2D in Madrid

Currently working with a Sky + box and an Invacom 0.3 quad C120 LNB. The reception seemed to be a bit better with the Pace 2600 box and Sharp LNB. 2D Horizontal channels tend to disappear at midday though can often see the subtitles but not the actual picture. 2D Horizontal channels come...

    Reception in Spain

Comparison between Grundig GDS3000 and Panasonic DSB30

Andrew, I'm in Plaza Castilla. The best box at the moment is the Pace 2600. Works better than the Grundig and the Panasonics.

Will "Irish SKY" pick up RTE in Milano?

RTE etc is on Astra 2D Horizontal so if people in your area can get Hallmark, ITV Wales, London, BBC2, CBBC you should be OK

    Ordering Prem plus?

Dont have Sky+ yet but I ordered Prem+ over the Xmas holidays. Got family in Ireland to ring. No problems and no questions. Why not get the half price offer? It worked out at 35 Euro for me and each game they charge 8.50 for Irish customers. They will probably announce more games as well before...

    sky+ abroad

Well that's good cause even though the contract says it needs to be connected to the phone all the time (they don't seem to enforce that part) I did think that with the initial activation they did check the connection.
