Installed the 3rd LNB for Hotbird, and it seems to be working well so far. Did a full scan and pulled in 1400FTA TV (not radio) channels. I've got a couple of weak TPs on Astra1 which might cause me a problem but should be fixable with some minor adjustment.

Well, it's done. Resolved at last. I got a Proception variable gain masthead but I was still getting a lot of signal fluctuation on BBCA with picture break up, which was really disappointing. I thought the only solution was going to be to give the aerial a lot more height, which is something...

Initial results with the new Labgear mini log periodic are very encouraging. Most channels working fine, only a few suffering picture breakup. Bearing in mind that's non-amplified with the aerial balanced on an upstairs window sill, I think this will work pretty well when mounted in position...

Passive means not-amped, right? According to the Labgear site, it has a forward gain of 5.3 dBd or 7.5dBi
