Advice Needed Is this the right way round!?

Installed the 3rd LNB for Hotbird, and it seems to be working well so far. Did a full scan and pulled in 1400FTA TV (not radio) channels. I've got a couple of weak TPs on Astra1 which might cause me a problem but should be fixable with some minor adjustment.

Advice Needed Is this the right way round!?

Cheers guys - This is destined to be a non-experimental setup, giving me french (via a BIS sub on hotbird), german and english channels, so I was hoping it would be solid enough for all three (even in crap weather). Sounds like the consensus is that I should be good to go, so I'll crack on when...

Advice Needed Is this the right way round!?

Thanks, appreciate the feedback. I was hoping that the Penta 68 would be up to the task - I know that's it's a good dish for single lnb (or motorised) setups but I was wondering if it's unique shape would be a problem for multi-lnb setups. Results seem OK so far, but I have nothing to compare...

Advice Needed Is this the right way round!?

Hi All, I want to get Astra 1, Astra 2 and Hotbird on my Penta 68. I've got an inverto multi-lnb bracket from Amazon and have populated it with 2 Black Ultras so far. The dish is focussed on 19.2 and I'm pulling in just over 400 FTA TV (unencrypted) channels from that Sat which I'm reasonably...

    For Sale Technisat Multytenne

I am selling an as-new Technisat Multytenne (single). I bought it last month but I don't actually think I'm going to have much use for it. Still have original box and literature but dish has been mounted for the past couple of weeks. Offers via PM. Thanks. Will upload pictures shortly.

    Co channel interference?

Well, it's done. Resolved at last. I got a Proception variable gain masthead but I was still getting a lot of signal fluctuation on BBCA with picture break up, which was really disappointing. I thought the only solution was going to be to give the aerial a lot more height, which is something...

    Co channel interference?

Initial results with the new Labgear mini log periodic are very encouraging. Most channels working fine, only a few suffering picture breakup. Bearing in mind that's non-amplified with the aerial balanced on an upstairs window sill, I think this will work pretty well when mounted in position...

    Co channel interference?

Passive means not-amped, right? According to the Labgear site, it has a forward gain of 5.3 dBd or 7.5dBi

    Co channel interference?

Any thoughts on the Labgear Mini-Log? http://www.amazon.co.uk/Labgear-LPCT-Compact-Periodic-Aerial/dp/B00LFMVQN2/ref=dp_ob_title_ce I know it will be a few dBs less gain than the full size, but I was looking for something a bit discrete (hence the dome) so the idea of a 40cm aerial does appeal.

    Co channel interference?

Would a bandpass filter help any? I've seen this on ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Triax-470-606-MHz-Group-A-Band-Pass-Filter-Channels-21-37-370653-/231395714473?pt=UK_Sound_Vision_Signal_Amplifiers_Filters&hash=item35e04265a9 (Rowridge is obviously group A) If not, looks like I'm making a...

    Co channel interference?

Well the plot thickens.... The weather outside is foul tonight here: windy and plenty of rain. I did a quick test to see what affect this would have on my already crappy BBCA/COM5 signals. Bizarrely, it is working perfectly for the first time since I put the Digidome up. I had a look at the...
