Conical nuts is also an idea, though probably not the best bearing...
It is essential for tracking inclined satellites, but in my opinion should be done by adjusting declination, not elevation.For antennas smaller than 2 meters, adjusting of elevation only needed if arc is not perfectly tuned. IMHO
IMHO 10 conical nuts for only 3,99 it is good price. They will make perfect bearing for your mount.I haven't bought 'em yet ..but thinking about it seriously.VS
Indeed I will Rima ..but can't countersink as far as I'd like on the outer steel bracket ..Make sense. And, I suppose, outside you will have another 2 conical nuts and 2 locking nuts?
Not detected any play in it up to now ..and movement is easier.Looks good and sturdy. Grease will help the movement. I guess there's no play there?
I have a non-Vbox type 36v positioner, if you want it for the cost of postage? It's EasySomethingOrOther 2000 - has a remote but no idea how many positions can be stored on there.
