I've been reading about the "Technomate TM-6900 Super HD" and "Vantage HD 8000".

Can any of these manual search by entering just the frequency and let it run? I think the Vantage can, though I may lean towards looking at the Technomate if it can also do this.

I used to have an Nokia 9200S and it could do this very easy. You'd just type in 12600 (example) and it will find if anything is there, even if it's 20+ out. Would usually do this in several seconds if anything was there.

I'm not wanting to scan an entire sat each time but have some control what I want.

A bump for 2011, are the newer models any better than the ones discussed on here?

If so which blind scan receiver would the feedhunters recommend now?

Have a look at this link :

It does have a blind search and a 1080p output but only a single tuner. I'm a bit put off the 'Vitamin' name though LOL

I saw this too, but wondered what it did if you looped them?

Also there is two of these now to consider - anyone how good these are?

cheers

Anybody got opinions on the Dr HD F15/F16 receivers and their blind scan abilities?

I want a receiver that will find both 4:2:0 and 4:2:2 feeds, in both Qpsk and 8psk but find transponders quickly and accurately, any other features would be irrelevent as my other boxes would be the ones i'd view programmes on.
