2.2m Precision Prime focus dish satellite tv / Amateur radio / moonbounce | eBay

It has been 'Waxoyled' since installation and the mount and actuator well lubricated. This dish consistently outperforms and receives signals that usually require 2.5m dish. It's all painted in Military green drab and is invisible at distance in a rural setting.

Hi
We are moving from current home to a much smaller place so the dish has to go. Even if "she who will be obeyed" agreed it, the new plot is north facing.

I would love this dish.. and only down the road in Uttoxeter, but SWMBO here says no..took me all my time to persuade to let me have a 1.8 up!

@scopus organise a weekend away for her, and her friends - get the dish bought and swapped - she wont know the difference if all up and sorted and if she does, well....<shrugs shoulders> ?

@Delstron0 - how comes you upped the price from 390 to 490 if you need it gone?

Its getting cut up this week if no takers and going to the tip. Cannot believe it, such a tremendous dish that has served me so well. I'll post pictures next weekend.

My first 2.2 mtr Precision that got storm damaged ten or so years ago and beyond repair got cut up and taken down to the local scrap merchant - gave me £21 i think it was. Made me weep.
After i dried my eyes , i bought another one from Elite, ex Precision & spun by the same chap Dennis that did my first .
Does anybody follow the aviation channel on Youtube 'Jimmys World' - - he has a project running called 'Save the 310' (aircraft} - - we need to set up something similar like 'Save the 2.2' lol.

I wanted to message the ebay watchers, but ebay will only let you put a LOWER price in the offer (10% lower I think) that is then binding. I did not want to do that so raised the price today so I can message them all tomorrow, no doubt a few of the guys on here will get the offer tomorrow. I have 655 views and 24 watchers and had numerous messages saying why are you selling, isn't it great etc. etc. but not one offer yet. When It's gone (sold or scrap) I'll share with you where it came from, you'll never believe where! Cheers
