Looks like that web site has picked up on the email from SES that's been floating around some of the forums about transferring services next year, but that could be anything from January to December 2012. At least we know that those of us in the east have this Christmas left to watch the BBC.

2D will be redeployed elsewhere - plenty of life left in the old girl yet :D

You want to see it on a real time spectrum. You can see its heart beating. Boomp boomp, bump bump... Maybe the solar panels on one side are a bit dodgy, I don't know, but you can sure see the 50rpm spin. Same with 3A.

Something must have subtely changed with the two C5 family tp's. Normally I can only have one or the other scanned in, but having just done a full 28E scan on my 7020 Ive now got duplicates of all the C5 family currently on 10964H & 12422H, - they are scanning on both frequencies.

I had 7720 stored on my Sky box. It was showing 5+1. Just got "No Sat. Signal Being Received" and had to re-scan to get it to work.

Earlier today I had 7720 stored and when I went back to it again to get a screengrab for someone, 7720 had deleted itself from the 'other channels' altogether. Had to rescan to get it back.

The ITV cluster is also coming and going at the moment and 20711 has no video at all at the moment.

Lost Channel 4HD for sure. Checked dish and asked others. What size dish are we going to need for astra 1N here in Lanzarote? Also what else are we going to lose?

So far, we know that dishes up 1.35m cannot receive the moved transmissions. Reports from Gran Canaria are that the big dishes many bars have can receive them. No such reports from Lanzarote yet (but it is likely to be true).

I am hoping the 1.8m dishes may be able to pull in the new transmissions. This would be good news (within the context of all the bad news, so to speak) as they are less unaffordable than the big dishes and so would open up UK PSB channels to a wider audience, especially as it now strongly rumoured that all the Astra2D channels are going to move to the same place (Astra 1N) as well.

Still trying to determine that one out but pretty sure it'll end up being the large 3.1m prime. As you know most folk watching Uk satellite TV either have a 1.35m or then jump to a 3.1m (which will be okay); problem is I believe, due to demand, no one has anything in between ie, 1.8m / 2.4m to test.

I think trigger is the only active forum member that can test the new IN frequencies with a meter whilst on his daily working travels.

Looks like the remap has happened then, even though the channels are still encrypted.

Going fta must be imminent.

There are some odd things happening on the Sky epg. In the other channel menu 7720 and the channel 5 bouquet are now only showing their labels but cannot be received. Yet in the EPG itself I am getting everything I should on the CH5 bouquet

You need to delete and rescan if you still need them on there.

Yes something happened to the pid mappings today - I commented on it about an hour ago.

Delete & rescan.

KOS are listing it as 2037 - maybe it's their typo.
