It's unlikely that the 2F would be stronger than the 1N outside the UK beam. I'm for 99% sure that it's still on the 1N.

It's a Contribution from the Abstract Tendency - no context, so sadly none of us know: But at a guess, I imagine it is the person's personal opinion of when the next 2F Transponders will light up.

Yes I saw that link as well seems genuine to me & it makes you wonder why SES Astra no longer update down links on new satellites on the SES Astra site?

Based on that it just stopped working for me here in Berlin and very abruptly. Normally if the signal is bad due to weather BBC 1 etc goes first or at least at the same time. For the moment just ITV2 +1 says no signal on my NI Sky box

We have made some tests here in Naples on the new 2f and have found that the signal will drop by about 5.5 to 6 db.
So to compensate we have figured that a 4 meter dish will be needed to receive the present free view off of the 2 meter dish that we are using now.
we will know better once it switches over. This should take place in the next few days.

It would be almost unheard of for scheduled satellite swaps to occur during the early evening - when millions of folk are starting to tune into their evening viewing.

Anyway we arent expecting the low band frequencies to move yet.

Just tried ITV2+1and just the same as before and as other freesat channels with SS at 70% on my Humax with 20db attenuator. However Tiny Pop and POP etc all levels now down to 60%!! Also noticed I have three new freesat channels including Sky News - but all shownig 70% SS.
