I did wonder whether you had seen it as there were reports going down to north Yorkshire.

North Yorkshire? Call for Tivu!

What, What?

We do have relatively dark skies here, so a good chance of seeing anything in range, but I didn't see nuffink, guv.

Looks like its going to be close to a frost tonight-glorious clear sky. Even getting a signal from eutelsat 21a on to my astra 23.5 shared lnb.

Any particular 21.6E frequency to look for?

Bloody typical - a perfect night for looking for aurora - crystal clear out, and the water on the grass is frozen already so its well below zero.

And absolutely no sign of auroral activity - so I used the time to nudge the 23.5E lnb to see if I could see anything off 21.6E. But thats as elusive as the aurora!

Very nice. We are planning on going to Tromso, Norway or North Sweden somewhere in search of these lights in December. Shame it's bloody raining here now.

I'll put a thread in the technical section which we can put details of good aurora websites, rather than clogging this one up.

Cold and frosty here this morning too.

A friend of a friend was up Ben Nevis recently - apparently it already had snow in the top!
