gm - as I told you last year you take this far too seriously. Chill out bud - its just a bit of end of year fun for anyone near a satellite receiver who doesnt have anything better to do.

There is no need to forward plan everything yet - Dec 31st is plenty early enough

Now stop worrying about sorting out every individual time zone one post at a time. It'll all either pull together or fall apart on the night.It doesnt matter either way, I certainly dont care if things go wrong on the night.

I think I take it far too seriously as well... I've been making plans for a long time! Which receivers to use, which dishes to connect to them, how to wire it all together etc.

However 2010 has been by far the c**ppiest year of my life, so thinking about Chasing Midnight now and then has been a very welcome distraction

The dish on the traffic cone has been re-aligned properly to 28E and is connected to a Sky Digibox (SD) with a FTV card (for the time being.) I'm watching a load of rubbish on UK TV this weekend and this coming week!

Hi Geordieman (and anybody else taking it far too seriously - like me )

I found the attached file on my computer... does this help at all? Be aware though that it's a few years old and bits of it are out of date. For example, Uzbekistan TV has shifted from Express 40E to Express 53E and there have been several frequency changes on both 13E and 19E.

I think the file may have come from one of the previous CM threads, can't remember, sorry.

Hi Ed, DD News disappeared off 28E a long time ago so that one can be scratched off. However theres a couple of other Indian channels around. ISTR there was a beach party shown on Amrita a couple of years ago - although without any sound as the audio is encrypted

the thing is there used to be russia at +4 but now theres a 2 hour gap between yekatrinburg at +5 and moscow at +3

The best you will get as regional channels in the uk is BBC Scotland with a piper strangling a cat on the ramparts of Edinburgh Castle - Im pretty sure all the English regionals are networked to London.
