I am in... to which extent I am not sure yet. If weather is fine, I will be off for the late evening and overnight, if it's not I will be at home and doing the
procedure which has become an annual thing(pun intended). The weather forecast for Monday is pretty sad though so it looks like I might be at home.
Just a few thoughts:
* With KBS World having become free-to-air, we have another target for South Korea besides Arirang.
* Russia still having that messed up time system, so Moscow is at UTC+4! That would mean their midnight is at 2000 GMT. Yes, an ugly clash with Dubai, I know. Last year showed that we will have potential targets also at 2100 GMT. At least Iraqi TV had some fireworks on last time. If I stay home for the night, then I might be able to help you decipher what they are showing since I can read Arabic a bit, so I might be able to pick out placenames etc.
* If you don't shy away from Internet streams, looks like Estonia might have something at 2200 GMT. ETV has live shows listed for NYE, including for local midnight. You'd be able to see it at
http://otse.err.ee/etv
I have access to 19.2°E and 13.0°E, and a FTA DVB-S2 receiver. In addition to that of course access to my local television with antenna - ETV will also be showing Dinner for One this year
Good luck mates, and looking forward to your company!
