The first event I can find on this forum was 2004, although it had started a few years previously over on the DS forum. :) I havent posted on DS since 2011 so I CBA to go and use the search there to find the earlier events.
That sounds right, so yeah this is my 20th.

OMG Brisbane is one of the worst bits of coverage Ive ever seen. For those of you who missed it the terrible coverage:

was BADLY out of focus
the fireworks were hidden behind trees
no audio - just the occasional sound of a computer keyboard tapping or motorcycles going past

:-rofl2

Reminds me of one of the Indian channels a few years ago - the garden fireworks display they tried to show was behind a wall & only the rockets were visible :D

I did actually miss Brisbane, seems like it might have been the right choice!
I’m going have to watch to see the poor quality for a laugh!

I doubt ABC News will cover it, they only seem to cover Sydney (or 'Sydnye')

Nothing found for 14:30 .

Darwin had a Fireworks display on the waterfront but no one broadcasted it live. There will be videos uploaded to YouTube in due course. Infact here's one

I could tell Brisbane was gonna be awful even before it started, that's why I switched it off.

Guam had a great display again. It said drone display but I couldn't see any drones. Who could forget last year when the drones spelt out a message but the camera we were viewing from was behind so the text was backwards

Pyongyang up next, will they won't they. Seoul and Tokyo ain't worth watching in my opinion

With the loss of JSTV off 13E Japan is a washout on satellite - NHK never shows anything. Seoul has the Bosingak Bell ceremony but rarely much else.

Japan was good so the loss of JSTV is annoying.

Hopefully Pyongyang will deliver.
