it was like it on previous box so it just a case of me fine tuning the dish next weekend

Mr. Hopper is referring to DECT phone interference .... And that would perhaps explain why your issue has been experienced by both the old and the replacement boxes.

Such interference exploits poorly screened cable and wall-plates and manifests itself as difficult reception of Transponders around 11500-11600 in Low Band and 12450-12550 in high band (Roughly).

Turn off your DECT phone base and take the handsets as far away as possible and check if the problem has magically disappeared.

we dont have a dect phone and i know the satellite cable is okay so its just means that my dish needs fine tuning

i dont know but the quality is back on european beam channels

Not just DECT kit, poorly fitted f plugs and sometimes the cable itself failing.
