Humax Freesat postcode?

I was thinking of buying a Humax Freesat HD. But i would like to know if it has a Diseqc on board.
I must change the Humax to Diseqc B

At the moment A Astra 19
B Astra 28,2

Hi Bob, according to the specification it has Diseqc version 1.0, 1.2 USALS, SCD (single cable distribution) - hope this makes sense to you(!)

I think there's been some rejigging of ITV; I'm in Cyprus with the Humax HDR and the Oxford ITV doesn't give a good signal anymore. If I switch to non-Freesat, then London seems a better bet, but I do get ITV HD, but only via "non-Freesat".

Amazing as it may seem the following actually works on a HUMAX Freesat HD:

Simply enter: "UK" in capitals as a postcode. You will receive the London regions on channels 101 and 103.

I hope this works for you. It certainly works for me.

Does entering UK mean it doesn't need to see the Eurobird signal to set up?

It'll still need Eurobird signals to get the EPG and updates, this is just a short cut to put a postcode in.

Is there anyway to get round the epg not working here in Cyprus ? We can only get now/next.

I can't think of one if you're using Freesat boxes. Other than larger dishes of course...

just set my box up in cyprus -peyia- all you put in is BR and off you go but follow the ins. to the letter ie download from sat twice if you look on page GB23 item 3.3 and magnify the box it shows br easy mines all set have fun brian
