HUMAX HDCI-2000, just had ota update from 1.00.11 to 1.00.15.

Here's a channel list for fixed dishes based on Laural's excellent motorised version of 25/11/07.

It is of course easy to change the DiseqC ports in the Antenna Config DiseqC column, but not the DiseqC version in the original list.

This is OK, but gives the'Motor Moving' message when changing satellite position on your Humax

This version involved much cutting and pasting a into a new list that included DiseqC 1.0 taken from another fixed dish list I had, but at least it does away with the aforementioned message.

Can you please advice if it is worth updating my Humax HDCI-2000 from version .07 to a newer one and what are the updates/differences in the new .08, .11, .13 and .15 versions? Pros and cons? I'm having problems with the latest versions of Predator/Predasour for some channels like Pre*****. Are there any improvements in compatibility of the T-Rex SM 4.6 with the new firmware versions after .07?

The only problem for me in updating to version .15 is that CH4 HD gives sound only, no video (I'm using Predator 3.63 in a Dragon cam).

I went straight from .07 to .15. Apparently .11 is OK with CH4 HD, but I haven't used that version myself.

Pr*miere AU working OK, they are back to k*y 00 ATM.

0.15 seems a lot faster in booting up and channel changing. Certainly a lot faster booting up than my Fortec Passion :-Cgrin

- Dragon/T-Rex w/Pred.3.63(Prem. AU o.k. & Sly card o.k):-Cgrin

Haven't tried .15 yet. Will upload it tommorow to my Humax.

This is an updated fixed dish channel list for use with the latest FW version 15, using Laural's 18/12/07 channel list.

I've added Eurobird 9 to the satellite database, extracting those channels that were previously combined with Eutelsat W1 and placing them in Eurobird 9.

Thanks for the information. So in this case it is probably best to upgrade the firmware to .11. I'm just afraid that I might loose all my channels settings.
Does anybody know why there are no newer firmware versions than .07 on the official Humax site?

This version is tailormade for version .15. You can try it with an earlier FW version, but I can't vouch for its compatibility. Some channels appeared in the wrong list using an earlier firmware (v.7) with this list.

Apparently the .15 version will appear on the Humax site in the next few days, together with update notes on fixes to earlier versions and additional functions.

Those who are not clearing Channel 4HD here is the firmware which may clear it. Version 11.

Hi mates

I've just made an OTA upgrade directly from .04 to .15, and the image is too dark in my LCD.

I see now that, in this thread, this problem was already reported with previous versions, but unfortunately I never noticed it.:mad:

Since I don't see any major improvements in .15 comparing with the "old" .04 (even the Advance Search is useless because when I try to use it in order to catch the missing channels from Premiere, I only get channels that give "reference 13- This channel is currently not broadcasting").

So my questions are:

a) Is there any problem in downgrading the version ?

Will I loose my Channels List ? (That wouldn't be a great problem for me)

c) This "dark on LCD" problem started with wich version ? (I would like to upgrade to the previous version before that one where this problem begun)

No problem downgrading to an earlier version, just save your channel list using the Formula program.

Sorry cant remember which version when the dark picture manifested itself, maybe 0.7 onwards (?)

It seems that I must go back to .04.

Regarding the channel list, I have a (possibly dumb) question:

Right now, I have the .15 version in my receiver.

If I save the Channel list using the Formula program, I'll have a Channel list that was created from a receiver with version .15.

Is it possible to use that same list and download it to my receiver after I downgrade it to .04 ? Are the channel lists in versions .04 and .15 compatible ?

Successive firmware versions make changes to the satellite database (new sats added, renamed etc.) so there may be some compatibility issues.

Best to upload the list you have for the version it was made for. By all means try it with the 0.15 version and see if it see if it's OK, haven't tried this myself though.
