Hi Llew,
Thanks the problem was with the USB to serial it was set on COM4 and the software was looking for COM1 changed that and it works fine. Just one thing more could you help with the downloaded file is saved in pdf format and Adobe Reader 7 wont look at it. I assume there is editor software available to amend the list could you point me in the direction to obtain this software.
Regards
Fred

Glad you sorted it out Fred.

File recognition mistakenly thinks it'a an Adobe doc. You can't open it except with Formula.

Go to your Formula for Neo and click on File - Open and find your upload.fdf file to check your channel list.

Don't know that one Fred. Where did you upload it from?

If it is a fixed dish list and has your STB's sats on it, you could delete anything not needed.

If it's for Diseqc 1.2, you'll have to change the Diseqc versions for each satellite in the Antenna Config screen to your Diseqc switch setups.

Does anyone know how to tune the Prem. Sports Portal channels(Prem. Sports 2) on 11720GHz.? I've tried a Advanced search on my Hummy and inserted the VPID & APID, but what it gets is a channel that gives me "reference 13- This channel is currently not broadcasting". I know that on a Dreambox(green button) or even the new Clark Tech HD 5000 has a button that appears the channels to choose. It is transmitting right now(Benfica - Sporting Lisbon footie match), but no luck. Any tips?:confused

Thanks,

Rato, I use a channel list with the Sport 1 and 2 channels already listed.

!'m using Bigman V2.2 for fixed dish. There's one for Diseqc 1.2 as well.

Hi denis1501,

Are u working on a motorised HD2000 Channel list.

Is it possible to update a H to H List like (L53 08 May, made
for the Diablo Cam) by Laurals53 on Sataid.
He I think will not mind you taking it over because he got rid of his
HD2000, hence no Prem Sport 3 or any other new channels.
Its about the best channel List about for the Diablo & Dragon Cams.
It has its Favorites clear too.

Anyone have a problem with the HDMI picture being to dark to
watch when viewing HD on an LCD, I Do.
Here is a tip (Not as good as 720p but close..brighter)
Connect HDCI2000 to LCD with a Component lead
(Philips Component Lead at ASDA £6.95) Set HD2000 V-Format
to 576p, you then have a 576p HD picture to View (AV3 on my setup).
One of the benefits is when viewing a Prem HD Film
you can with the HD2000 set to 576p Zoom up to Full screen.
It also upscales the SD picture, Its a better quality Picture
to that of the Scart on my Setup.

BF...

Yes BF, I have both HDMI and comp leads going into my Sony LCD TV, and there is definitely a difference in brightness between the two.

I don't notice a great difference myself in changing the resolution though, as I only have a 28 inch screen, so it's usually left on the comp AV selection, for the reason you describe.

Sorry buddy, I only have a fixed dish here, dual feed Astra 1 and Hotbird, so it's only a fixed dish update I'll be doing.
Anyone try out my list yet?? Wouldn't mind a bit of feedback.

Yes, this is a problem I reported to Humax a long time ago, of course they have done nothing about it. Actually there are 2 faults, firstly it puts out PC levels (black = 0, white = 255 referred to an 8-bit signal) instead of TV levels (black = 16, white = 235). Hence the brightness is too low and the contrast too high. This is one reason why I feed it through my DVDO scaler, which has tweaks to take this error out.

The second problem is the 'radio contrast bug' where selecting a radio channel causes the contrast to go even higher causing clipping of whites and blacks (because as noted above the signal is already at maximum so there is no headroom). There is a workround for this bug: select a radio channel, then cycle round the display settings on the V-FORMAT button. The radio contrast bug is then fixed and will remain so as long as mains power is not switched off.

Note to mods: it might be worthwhile to change the title of this thread to the actual model number HDCI-2000, then it will come up in a search.

That's very interesting. I would imagine those bugs could be rectified by a tweak of the software, but as you mention, Humax seem to have shut up shop on this model.

OK, I'll change the title.

Hi Rato, Re Tune IN,

If you open your Channel List In (Formula 1.01), and you like that
List because you know where your channel"s are.
Just open another Channel List that has Prem Sport 1..2..3 loaded,
(Now have 2 List"S). Ether Highlite Prem Sport 3 and copy (Service ID..PMT..
..VPid..APid), and so on into an unused Channel on
(Astra 19e) into your first list (Click Save).

Or Copy and Paste Prem Sport 2 in your First List just below Prem Sport 2.
(Now have 2, Prem Sport 2).
Just change your 2nd Prem 2 Pid"s for those of Prem Spot 3
that are in your 2nd List (Click Save).
Your first List will now have Premiere Sport..1..2..3.

Or Copy Prem Sport 3 in your 2nd List. (Left click on Prem Sport 3, click Copy),
Highlite the channel Under Prem sport 2 in your first List (Blue Line) then
click Paste at the top of (Formula).

If you would like to tidy up, or put Channel"s in order in your List,
you can Copy & Paste, or Drag & Drop channel"s to where ever you Like as long
as it"s in the same Satellite List. If you move Channel 1 to 11, that will then be
Channel 10, and Channel 2 will be Channel 1.

Does anyone Know how to fine the (FAKE NID) in Formula"s (TS Info).
I have found all the Info to Add a new Frequency except (FAKE NID).

BF...
