The one I have only cost 100 pounds including the konig and sky box and single LNB so up to now have not spent very much


Good stuff - many of us either choose to, or are compelled to, do things on a small budgie.

I would not advise going for a Freesat branded box unless you manage to get a dish big enough to receive Astra 2D.

The majority of the Freesat (interesting) channels are on the 2D narrow beam so you will end up with a more or less useless receiver with 2/3rds of the channels unavailable to you.

You would be better off getting a FreesatfromSky card and watching the encrypted PSB stuff using Add Channels that are currently carried on the widebeams *

(*) This may change in a few weeks time so dont invest any money yet

Just placed the white sky card in and curreently decoding the ITV regions and channel moire as well as the plus ones

E4 and more for saying subscription only...maybe they will activate??
