Is it possible to find multistreams via blindscan?
Do I need a specific image or add-on?

Do you have a suitable LNB, and 4K receiver?

Can you explain how?

With OpenATV

Menu —> Setup —> Reception —> Blind scan

blind14W.jpg

For 5°W & 33°E a 110 cm dish is O.K.
For 14°W you will need a bigger dish in order to lock all the multistream channels.

To save any further confusion... o_O
Octagon SF8008 DOES NOT blindscan multistream (MIS) frequencies, only T2-MI and these are not multistream transmissions.
The only E2 receivers that can blindscan MIS are the ones equipped with an Availink tuner (such as Edision OSmio 4K) and potentially an MS88R6060 tuner (but I'm not sure if this is activated in E2).

@ MCelliotG: MIS is indeed what I mean. The Edision OSmio 4K isn’t available anymore.
Do you know an alternative?

So far, no, I'm not sure if these Multibox receivers that some of them are equipped with the MS tuner are able to blindscan MIS. The tuner is capable and fast, but I'm not sure if the manufacturer has released drivers that enable this feature.

Are you sure these models are able to blindscan MIS?
