Those westerlies are taking its toll. It moved my Fibo ..somewhere. Can't get a decent lock on 28E and can't get a lot anywhere else at all.

Blah. Back to Freeview in my office.

Has been very windy all day today. So much so, the tops of the trees move and block the LOS for SWMBO's Astra dish......maybe we'll get the tree surgeon in now....

A surprise snowstorm late morning.

I'd been out in town bellringing and as I left town saw cars coming t'other way covered in snow.

Soon I hit the storm, which was so sudden and intense I only just managed to coax Boris (My car) up a modest hill.

Worst of all, crossing the A19 took forever as only one lane was passable for its own traffic and it was slow moving and nose to tail - no gaps to cut across and it wasn't possible to engage maximum thrust, much caution being required.

It´s a tad windy at castle Milamber at the mo. So much so that the local palm trees are behaving like skittles in an alley. Hope it will generate some work as things have been very slow for a month or so now! It was a good time to get the bug I had as I didn´t loose too much work because of it!

There is no wind today ...no rain ...and a ferkin big yellow globe in the sky that hertz my eyes when I look too long at it ..
This simply isn't mormal ...and it's freakin me out..
Thought my cats had died as they lay on the widow sill ..
turns out they are just asleep ...but they are rather hot to touch..
Is this the world coming to an end ??

Is it safe to stroke them hot pussies or not ??

Had a covering of snow overnight and a further shower during the morning. But now there's loads of sunshine (yes VS, that big yellow thing) and the snow has melted. Three of our cats are lying on our bed, so not particularly hot....in any case I'm not usually to be found stroking a pussy this close to lunch....

Down at our gaff in France for a week. We were prepared (mentally) for snow and freezing temperatures but we now we're here we have the same yellow globe smiling down on us. It would be quite warm if it weren't for the effing Mistral that's blowing cold air down from the Alps on to us.

Fair bit of overnight snow which is now slushy given today's brilliant sunshine.

Hope it thaws properly before nightfall as -6C is forecast.

No sign of snow here just to the West of you, just a heavy frost, and since sunrise wall to wall sunshine, still nippy out though

Just cleared the snow off Boris as I am off out for the ra few hours, and it's thawing very quickly, fortunately.

Next few days are going to be a trifle brisk.

The wind has finally died down near castle Milamber, closely followed by about 2 hours of heavy rain, now, all is serene.
Hope the same is for tomorrow, as golf beckons in the morn and I only have two balls left!

( I´m sure some of the responses will be very amusing )

I have been so wrong, the rain has returned and it feels like my house is directly under the Victoria Falls!

Two days of sun, with a light wind here and more tomorrow. Grass has dried so I am going to mow the lawns.

Well the thaw didn't quite progress as far as avoiding the risk of icy roads on my way back home.

I pretty much slithered the last three miles off the main road and through the lanes.

SWMBO is also out so {Patronising} I hope she takes great care, not being as adept at driving as half the population {/Patronising}

Seriously, it's quite unpleasant out there now and the night is already well below zero.
