Leez, if you are giving out N lines you must put the deskey in each N line that you give to a peer. This may or may not replace the F line you have for that peer in your CCcam.cfg Thats your choice.

You can create the new user in the NewCS web interface by clicking on Manage Users.

Hi, quick question, should an unpaired white card show up some entitlements in Newcs?

Shows the Blues cards one fine, but for the White card I just get an empty entitlements box.

BTW running an Omnikey 3121 on a Debian server and don't have a paired card to test.

Thanks for the reply, as a follow on question then, if I can see 0963 under CAID in the Readers part of the Newcs webserver and 963 in the Servers bit of CCcamPHPinfo then I should be all ready to go for when I've got a paired card (adding the correct boxkey too), does this sound right?

Still a bit puzzled about not seeing entitlements as I had heard that unpaired cards can open ALL channels, have I been mislead?

When I got my new white card the entitlements didn't show in NewCS and therefore it opened nothing. I paired it to my sly box and put it back in newcs and it opened everything.

Your newcs sounds like its right. Get the card paired and activated and you should be good to go.

Hi B16MCC, I am only a novice but I try my best. I am having some difficulty with a working file for newcs.
Do you have a working copy for a 7025 please. Also what 'n' line should I put in the cccam config. In simple terms what do I put in the address line to access the web interface. I hope you or anyone else can help as I am really frustrated now.

This and other threads are full of newcs.xml sample code. The config code is not box specific as such. Have you tried using my NewCS & CCcam config creator ?
I am very busy developing it and don't want to get bogged down writing huge threads on the same topic as what the util is aimed at. Please check it out I'm sure it will help you. The next beta release is almost ready.

B16MCC thanks for all the hard work you are doing on this topic and the CCcam/Newcs config creator,but I also have tried many different combinations of the config files ending up with yours using the Creator and still no joy.Cant think of what else to do but give up and cry.

Hi i have my sly card in infinity phoenix running newcs and cccam problem is it goes offline after 15 minutes when i reboot it starts again caid goes 0963 to 0000 can some one tell where i am going wrong here is my config

hello all again. when i put my white card into sky box to get entitlements updated nothing happens. i go to bed and the box switches itself to standby and nothing gets updated. i get up in the morning 8 hours later and screen is black as box is in standby

any ideas

If the box is in standby, the entitlements will update the same. Has the card been activated/paired with the intended sky receiver? If not, it can take a long time even more than the 24 hours claimed

Guys I put my card back in its paired box last night. I left the box on all night on Discovery HD, put the card back in NewCS this morning, NO UPDATE !

Its back in the paired box on Sly ONE HD, I'll check again in the morning.

i've got newcs 1.66 and cccam 2.1.1

I use NewCS 1.67 and CCcam 2.1.1

Make sure you put the N line in your CCcam.cfg above any of the other lines that connect to the same card. That way it will try yours first.

Try changing your prio file and have 963 before 961, that is probably the problem as if your getting 961 shares via cline it takes preference to your own nline.

changed my on prio and that stopped it grabbing the remotes

ok guys, I've had my 0963 card in the sly box for 2 days. The morning after I put it in, the entitlements did not update. I put it back in for another night and this time left it on sly one HD. They have now updated and everything seems good.

The entitlements were Sept 16th, they are now Oct 26th, so it seems you get about 6 weeks.

Not sure what's happened, but my working card appears to have borked itself. Was working fine when I went to bed last night, now it won't decrypt anything (ftv channels still work). I've put it back in my sly box, and encrypted channels just show "Channel not available". I'm pretty sure that the entitlements were valid for another couple of weeks, if not more. It MAY be that my Direct Debit has failed (I'll check tomorrow, but I've not received any letters) but if that was the case, NewCS/CCCam wouldn't honour the disablement would it?

Annoyingly, I can't get any information out of NewCS or CCCam as to the entitlements for the white card (I never have) despite it decrypting fine - if a little slow to change channel occasionally.

In the mean time, I'm going to leave the white card plugged into the Sly Box and left on tonight to see if its an entitlement problem - at least my old blue card still has about 3 weeks left on its entitlements

Your biggest problem there is why you can't get entitlement info from NewCS.
What happens when you click on Entitlements in the NewCS web interface?

CCcam will never show entitlements for a card hosted by NewCS.
