tying to get HD with progdvb

i ve been trying to get hd with progdvb (and failed up to yet)

anybody else care to try?

Right.....

Cracked it (sort of) by using this thing and my old Broadlogic 1030 card.
Gotta say it's VERY processor hungry, my dual core P4 3.4GHz with a gig of ram is not keeping up at all. Getting freezing and pixellation and 60 - 90% CPU activity (even worse on the HDFORUM 13e channel).

So unless you have something whizzier this one is a bit of a no no.

I don't understand no.4 in the instructions

"4. Launch ProgDVB with the switch /tsmode"

Does this refer to tsviewer?
I tried putting tsviewer in progdvb folder but can't get it do anything.
I think I need an idiots guide.

No - Click on windows START button then click run the put in C:\progdvb\progdvb /tsmode
Remembering the space before the switch.

Try opening it (using the command line obviously) with the DirecShow settings as Elecard and Video Renderer, then switch once it's open.

i've heard power dvd 7 is required for play back (which i'm just sorting)
tried powerdvd6 (no good)
hopefully will know within 1/2hr and will post

Hmm, to even watch hdtv its not working, i start with tsmode, and it starts ok. However if i select BBC HD (which i had to manually enter otherwise it comes up as radio), nothing appears, and if i select BBC 2 or any other normal chan progdvb exits, and i have to restart my pc otherwise my card wont start.

Any Ideas?

Made some progress following exact instructions fro mthe readme, however when progdvb starts up now it finds a signal and lcoks onto my last viewed chan "bbc 2 england" and then just freezes and does nothing, any ideas?
