It's fine on the DRHD F15 so could be, certainly not a key change.

Probably not - it was encrypted for much of last year apart from the Olympics

Can't open HD channels with new DR.HD F15 (205P) because it requires video H264 (no audio, no video). How can i enter it? SD channels are working fine with manually PIDs.

On the TM5402HD it is at the bottom of the section where you add the pids, Menu, Edit Channels,Add Channels.
If it is not there on the Dr.HD then we need someone who has one to let us know.

I have got a couple of enigma 1 boxes in the back of the cupboard and I recollect that you can enter the pids. Is it worth dragging them out, has anyone tried it or would it be a problem with frequencies?

Just an update, BBC One is no longer BBC One London. It was BBC One Network when checking on the local opt outs diuring the news. Cut to the BBC Holding card of the BBC logo moving

I can't test it myself. This bird is behind a tree in my location.

It does work for me but only in the long mode, which means no sound on HD channels.
I would appreciate it if someone with ET9x00 could test it. Short mode does not work for me on ET9000 with OpenPLi.
Apparently it does work correctly on 7020HD if a proper demux number is used in the script.

so looking at the future without 1N, my only chance for UK PSB is this - however uncertain...so do i gather correctly that the two best receiver options are the technomate 5402 hd and dr.hd...with these two receivers - patched, i assume? - and a bit of googling, i can get those channels from this position - for the time being, until they choose to tighten the encryption method - is this right?

The Technomate works flawlessly and doesn't seem to be affected by changes in the transmissions (scrambling the PMT, etc.) that cause problems for other receivers.

Does anyone know if there is a PVR receiver that is equally reliable? - Being used to Sky HD I will have difficulty adapting to not being able to record programmes in the same fashion. Lack of EPG will also be a problem I think!

BBC THREE starts at 19:00 ;)

Though PMTs are still scrambled, it's straightforward to predict the ES_PIDs
e.g. CBBC HD

ServiceID = 18112 - CBBC HD
PMT PID = 7100

V_PID -> PMT_PID + 1 = 7101, stream type: H.264
A_PID ->PMT_PID + 2 = 7102, stream type: AAC
PCR_PID = V_PID

Alas these pids are missing :(
