USB KVM Switch.

it seems I could do with a kvm switch.

I don’t need them for the picture, as the FreeNAS is all done via web interface or command line.

It’s my tvheadend/mint Pc and my regular Pc I want to share the mouse and keyboard with.

It’s becoming a pain to keep pulling the machines out to plug in a keyboard and mouse.

Are there any to avoid or can someone recommend a good one? (Or are they all about the same)

Thanks.

Ordered a cheap one on amazon in the end.
I'm sure you'll be fine with that. I have previously used Belkins (VGA) like Terryl, but currently mostly using ATENs (for all DVI/HDMI operation). If you don't require video support, they are all more or less the same. Main difference I seem to remember is the keyboard sequence to switch between connected computers...

Yes both machines have their own screens, I just needed it for the mouse/keyboard input.
