So ..
I'm about a month away from taking the 4K plunge..
I ignored the rather stoopid transition to 3D ..
simply cos' for me it was impractical ..I have astigmatism along with mild early stage cataract in my left eye..
I've been very happy with my 50" panny plama for a good few years ..but my eyes are getting worse ..so large screen is needed with high brightness and good colour and contrast.
Oled is as yet out of my price range ...and I thought I might go up a size.
Things that are important to me are picture quality first and foremost ..
good quality audio ..though I have a surround sound system for movies etc.
connectivity ..
ports
minimum 3 hdmi ..and 1 scart/AV in ..
Catch up services ..and access to netflix etc ...less so
and ulimately ..
Reliability ...which as a TV engineer I'm all too well aware of screen failures etc
So ..Id appreciate input from anyone currently using a large screen 4K TV
what you like about it ..
what you dislike about it..
Its features and issues youve had
Obviously the brand and model ...
My budget will be roughly £1000 ..but I do like a bargain..
who doesn't
..any info or preferences will help me decide
This is one I've been looking at :-
LG 55UH668V Smart 4k Ultra HD HDR 55" LED TV
