Hi all,

Sorry for the semi-obscure request, but my LNB recently broke on my Grundig FIBO Gregorian-type dish. I've managed to find a good replacement C120 LNB, but the Feedhorn looks like it has seen better days. Does anyone know if these are still available anywhere, or if there is a suitable replacement/upgrade that I could purchase?

They have not been made since the 1990s. I think you will need to hunt for a second hand one.
 
Is that 90cm antenna? TBH, I've found out that simple universal LNB like IBU can replace original Fibo feedhorn with flanged LNB without any problems. If you do not manage to find another feedhorn consider making a holder for universal LNB like on the attached picture. IMG_20230120_193457.jpg

Some of the smaller takeaway pots make a good replacement.

Fibo 90 feedhorn and fixed Az/El mount

Hi, I obtained a 90cm Fibo but it's missing a plastic cap on the feedhorn cover - does anyone have a complete feedhorn or maybe there's a way to make the cover yourself? Also, looking for a fixed mount for the dish so I can put it on a DiSEqC motor, something like this? Though, anything...

I am pretty sure TS meant the feedhorn itself. Most likely the moisture got inside, and the aluminum surface got some oxidation. Simple change of cover cap will not solve the situation. More radical measures should be taken.

Oxidation of aluminium will not cause issues with reception (it won't degrade the feedhorn beyond acceptable unless it is enhanced with another chemical - sodium hydroxide for example)
 
Gents,
just a slight off-topic ... I recently acquired a brand-new-like Philips 120cm.
Can anyone recognize the brand and type of the original LNB attached here?
