New Lnb changer

So what Dishes did you serve?

We should be told.

Hello,

The side-arms tubes are too long and are curved !

How is the length in cm of the central side-arm at the back of the dish?

Have you adjusted the fixings screws of the motor diseqc 1.2, there is one that refines the motor position and therefore the lnb ?

I know, I did say that in my post. Need new rods.

You mean the main arm?

I have but I need to move the lnb slightly lower still and adjust the angle again.

where should I insert the diseq switch, cant seem to get it working. Never used one before
At the moment have have lnb to motor and moter to reciever

I think this is the best I am going to get it - I still don't think the signal isn't as good as it was with original arms (maybe 0.2-0.3 dB worse overall) but once I get the bits for new arms, I'll try it again. I am losing interest with this for now, since all I am doing is satellite dishes lately.

And I have BBQ to cook.

From lnb 1 to diseqc sw. ports 1 , lnb 2 to port 2 and so on .
switch OUT to motor , motor to receiver .
In the receiver (which ?) set diseqc 1.0 or 1.1 (depending which ? switch you have) lnb 1 at port 1 , lnb 2 at port 2 and so on .
Aswering questions without more info from youre side is hard without knowing what equipment you are using

@Trust1
allup and running, a small question

Should the lnb that has focus be directly straight with the motor extension?, mine is 2 holes to the right, this doesnt deem right, but am getting very good signal.

Can't you show a picture what you mean ?
I dont understand .
what about that problem ?? you did not go on with that !

its all up and sorted, it works great, the 2 holes to the right was remedied by lowering the lnb slightly and moving lnb to center hole.
AT the moment the motor will send either ku or cband to the center spot on perfect, but then i have to change the cable from either manually. So have aquired a diseq switch with the idea of 2 cable from switch to lnbs, and switch to receiver.
but i dont know where switch goes.
Is it before the motor or after? and di i have to intercept the lnb cable from moter, or the reciever cable from motor?
Trial and error will sort it, but it was too cold and windy today, so final piece of jigsaw is on hold.
I am well chuffed with the lnb changer, its brilliant.

A pic, or diagram may well help the situation. I would ask for an English translation, but as it is all in English ( and I still don´t understand it ) , doubt this would help! Pictorial learning is the way forward, and not language bound.

The last piece of the reinforcement finally installed today after this raining weekend...

Optical illusion, the dish is turned @ 65°W, the tube is not "twisted"

If some body ask me in English language , I presume a answer in that language is OK .
Or is my english writing , that bad ??

No, you take my post the wrong way.
It is my lack of knowledge on the subject that is the problem, not your English.
I just find pictures help me to learn.
Sorry if offence was caused, never intended.

It was the complexity of the technical issues that @Milamber was concerned about, hence his request for pictures which, as the saying goes, are worth a thousand words in any language :)

Dont tell me !
I still dont know what the problem was with the two holes mentioned by Whatagoal , aswell the center hole he mentioned .
Just answering , its solved , is a unsatisfactory answer .( its all up and sorted, it works great, the 2 holes to the right was remedied by lowering the lnb slightly and moving lnb to center hole.)
His problem could be also exist at others and I can avoid that with next changers .
Speaking with Louis van Gaal : I cant make (choclade) edit , my bad English :chocolate , off it (real Dutch saying)
